Eight members of the Upper Keys community recently spent a few hours walking in a nurseŐs shoes during "Shadow a Nurse" Day at Mariners Hospital. The hospital sponsored the day as part of National Nurses Week, held earlier this month. Patti Stanley, a member of the Mariners Hospital Foundation Board and the Mariners Hospital Founders Society, participated in the event and spent a morning in the hospitalŐs medical/surgical department. Stanley, right, is pictured with Sharon Hauk, R.N., left, and Debbie Stanger, R.N., center. Other participants were assigned to various departments throughout the hospital, including eICU, the operating room, administration and the emergency department.
