There was a nice tail wind and a drop in temperature – all welcome aspects of Thursday’s weather for the 2009 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Runners — including Monroe County Sheriff Bob Peryam and Key West Police Chief Donie Lee — visited major sponsors and several schools along the route. The group passes Horace O’Bryant Middle School with Key West Police Chief Donie Lee bearing the torch.
