Marr Properties of Key Largo had its annual yard sale March 28 to benefit MarrVelous Pet Rescues and Adoptions and raised more than $8,300. Donations of every imaginable type filled row after row of tables occupying the company's parking lot at mile marker 100. The event also included a bake sale and barbecue. All of the proceeds are going to MarrVelous Pet Rescues and Adoptions, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization finding homes for animals in need of a permanent family.
