The Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce hosted a "Chamber After Hours" at the "Habitech House" behind the Florida Keys Marathon Airport.
The 1,200-square-foot house was awarded in March to Stanley Switlik Elementary School teacher Sarah Adams. It was built by Marathon High School students this past school year.
Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys President Bruce Ferraro surprised Adams Wednesday, presenting her with keys to the home and telling her to "move in tomorrow." Sept. 1 was the original move-in date.
