Elizabeth Trachet, a longtime Key Largo resident, died on Oct. 7.</p><p>She was born on Aug. 30, 1916, in Sylvania, Ohio. She collected stamps for 60 years and was a Sunday school teacher and deacon in the Presbyterian church.</p><p>She participated in PTA in Pontiac, Mich., in the schools her children Robert and Karen attended. She filled her free time with crossword puzzles, crocheting, reading and baking.</p><p>In the Keys she donated time to the blood bank and at the voting polls, and was the secretary/treasurer for the Reef Runner Bowling League for 20 years.</p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M.</p><p>She is survived by her son Robert A. of Key Largo; daughter Karen of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Karen, Victoria, Roberta, Christopher, Shane and Derek; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Private family services were held.
