Kathi Anne Mearns McCutcheon, 52 of Clarkesville, Ga., died on Oct. 11.

She was born in Westchester, Pa., on Aug. 18, 1957, to Frank and Marjorie Kirk Mearns of Marathon. Mrs. McCutcheon owned and operated Helen Cellar and was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing, boating and cooking. She was active in Girl Scouts and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Joseph "Butch" McCutcheon of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law Jaime and Ben Otero of Omaha, Neb.; daughter Jodi McCutcheon of Big Sky, Mont.; daughter and son-in-law Jenna and Taylor Graham of Clarkesville; son Hunter McCutcheon of Clarkesville; brother and sister-in-law Randy and Dori Mearns of Marathon; brother Kerwyn Mearns of Marathon; and grandchildren Emily Graham, Avery Graham and Georgia Katherine Otero.

Funeral services were scheduled for Oct. 17 at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home in Cornelia, Ga., with Rev. Lyndon Eubanks officiating. Interment follows in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
