Michael John Hulet died Oct. 11 at Mariners Hospital in Tavernier.</p><p>Mr. Hulet managed his family's business, the Ragged-Edge Resort, in Islamorada, where he loved to fish. After graduating from Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores, Mich., in 1976, he worked as a marine mechanic in Michigan, California and Florida.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Hulet.</p><p>He is survived by his wife Rhonda; father James; brothers Jim and Bill; sister-in-laws Meg Hulet and Karen Kowalczyk; brother-in-law Ken Kowalczyk; in-laws Sue and Robert VanHollenbeck; nieces Jamie and Katie Hulet; and nephews Billy Hulet, and Kurtis and Kyle Kowalczyk.</p><p>A memorial service is planned for Oct. 31 at the Ragged-Edge Resort, mile marker 86.5, with further details to be announced.</p><p>Memorial donations can be made to Charisma Keys and Keys Cops for Kids, 470 52nd St., Marathon, FL 33050.
