  • 1 loaf cubed Texas Toast
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Mix all ingredients and place in 10 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour in a convection oven (up to 30 minutes longer in standard oven). Let cool and portion accordingly. Yields 10-12 servings Amaretto sauce:
  • 2 oz. Amaretto
  • 1 tbsp. corn starch
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 8 oz. heavy cream
  • 3 drops of egg shade or yellow food coloring. (Not necessary if you prefer white sauce). Combine all ingredients and heat on low until warm.
