A recipe from Castaway Waterfront Restaurant & Sushi Bar, 1406 Oceanview Ave. (mile marker 48 oceanside) in Marathon. It’s open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

  • Freshly shucked raw oysters on the half shell
  • Masago
  • Sour cream
  • Kimchi sauce On each raw oyster add a tsp. of sour cream, 1/2 tsp. of masago (smelt roe) and a drop or two of kimchi sauce. (Kimchi is strong and spicy so be careful and adjust quantities to your liking.)
