Students from the Marathon Keys Center Academy worked with bank staff to identify counterfeit money during a recent field trip to Centennial Bank. The field trip provided students with a tour of the bank where they learned how to identify counterfeit money, the importance of keeping a safety deposit box and were given the opportunity to step inside the bank's vault. The trip was part of the center's career awareness program that partners students with business leaders to help students gain a better understanding of careers that are available to them following high school graduation.
