The Sheriff's Office and Outdoor Resorts in Marathon teamed up in June to host a Kid's Day event. Kids had the opportunity to meet and talk to members of the Sheriff's Office Special Weapons and Tactics team (SWAT); K-9 Deputy Ken Fricke and his dog Tracer demonstrated their drug detection skills and the kids got to tour several Sheriff's Office vehicles including a Traffic Enforcement Charger and one of the Sheriff's marked hybrid vehicles.
