An enthusiastic group of champion soccer players stole the show Tuesday when Key West Mayor Morgan McPherson proclaimed May 17th through the 19th Key West Soccer Club U-10 Players Day. The ploclamation came during the regular meeting of the Key West City Commission. The team won the division championship in April in what McPherson called "a stunning victory that included a final game overtime period shootout."
